WELCOME
ACTIVITY
Beforehand, create 1 star of painted cardboard for each guest.
As they arrive, even before they enter the building, have
someone greet them, and using a large black magic marker,
write their name [calligraphy-style] onto a star. They should
then take the star with them into the building where they
will be encouraged to add it to the growing "Sidewalk
of Stars" leading into the main area. Note: Have your
leadership team put theirs down before guests begin arriving
so the first gals get to walk on something fun.
SUGGESTED
CRAFT PROJECT
Your
women will enjoy making and taking these candle "Star
Jars". The craft is easy and can be done in 45 minutes.
Supply requirements include mason jars, small paint brushes,

TAKE
HOME GIFT IDEA

PROMOTE
YOUR EVENT
WITH A FUNDRAISER
Do
you need to raise funds for an orphanage, a summer camp scholarship
fund, or a group of indiginous missionaries? Create "star" luminary
bags and "sell" them. Donations should reflect how much it costs
to support a child or missionary for one day or one month, or
how much it costs to send one inner city child to camp for one
day or week.
