Planning a New Bible Study

Before you begin a new study, PRAY! Then, with God's help, identify...

  • Who is your target group?
  • How much homework is reasonable for this group?
  • How long can they afford to spend at each group session?
  • Will they need childcare?
  • Where will you meet?
  • What topic will you study?
  • What materials will you use?
  • Does the length of the study match the number of weeks available?
  • On what date will you begin?

  • All Time Favorite Bible Studies

Only the great ones make this list. Gals who have gone through these studies describe them as "life changing".

Beth Moore Studies - Heavy homework; longer sessions with videos.
Experiencing God - Heavy homework; workbook.
Sacred Romance - Less homework; book & workbook.
Kay Arthur - Light to medium homework; books, workbooks or both.
Way of Agape - Heavy homework; book and workbook.

    Publicizing Your Bible Study

Once you know who you are targeting, what you will be studying and when, it's time to promote! You could always send out handwritten invitations, but here are a few other publicity tools available from Creative Ladies Ministries:

Rag Doll Invitations - Print from .pdf, then personalize. Cute.
Flower Pot Invitations - Print from .pdf, then personalize. Fun.
